With injured knees I can swim at the beach and enjoy SUP!
As you may have figured out from my sad posts, I've been without the run. Let's all have a moment of silence for my cartilage lacking knees.

*Silence*

Ah, much better.  Due to this little bump in the road, I've been forced to become creative in ways of coming up with cardio and exercise.  Since I've made this habit of an active lifestyle, it's VERY difficult to refrain from running. Therefore upon learning about my knees going on strike from running, I needed alternatives to running fast.  And the results were.....GRANDE!  Who knew not be able to run would lead me to enjoy so many fun and discover different forms of active adventures?

Here's to many different camping trips and kayaking to get there!
               Tracking Teeny's Trackless Adventure
-Luxurious Walks. No running allowed
-Stand Up Paddle Boarding at the beach.  Seriously...such a great workout and a blast
-Ashtanga Yoga.  Super intense yoga that follows the same pattern each session.  Think human pretzel
-Trail Bike Riding. I'm encourage to get muddy, play in the woods AND it's low impact!
-Kayaking.  Upper body, core strength and it's fun.  A group of us are heading to Otter Camp to Kayak Camp in 2 weeks!

Overall, this minor injury has led me to explore other adventures.  And guess what?  It helped me to find more activities that I actually am growing to love!  Ha, who'd have thunk (showing my Lutz side)  that I could turn an injury into a positive thing?

Here's to many more positive spins on life.  I'm ready for more half glass full kind of moments.

How do you turn an injury into a positive?
